Yes, I love to travel. I frequent the Pacific Northwest and Chicago often and have been lucky enough to travel all around the United States, Mexico and England to document weddings.

You’re not the first person to feel this way and you won’t be the last. Getting to know you before you step in front of the camera is incredibly important to me so before your session we’ll have the opportunity to chat and get to know one another. I deliver a customized approach to each person that’s in front of my camera. The photos I take come from a direction that’s influenced by moments and driven by movement and light. I’ll give you direction when it's needed otherwise as Beyoncé put it, “you are the visual.”

I picked up my first full frame DSLR camera in 2015 and began an apprenticeship with the talented Amanda Marie Birnie while continuing my education at the Minneapolis Photo Center. I photographed my first solo wedding in 2016 and became a full time photographer in 2020.

I’ve been a bride before who did a lot of DIY. In addition to sharing my own experience I’ve picked up a few things while photographing over 150 weddings over the years. Anything from timeline consultation, outfit choices, preferred locations, vendors and more I’ll be thrilled to help with.

I do offer mini sessions periodically. Each time a session is offered the date, location and inclusion is subject to change. I’ll do at least 2 mini session dates a year with more specifically tailored session options to come. Mini sessions are not available for extended families or newborns. Spots are limited and tend to book quickly so if you’d like to be first to know, subscribe to my newsletter.

I love doing newborn sessions and take a more documentary approach to the session while taking the time to photograph portraits of your new baby, making sure to capture all of their tiny features that will change before you know it. Newborn sessions can take place in your home or in my Northeast Minneapolis studio. I use minimal props resulting in simple, natural poses.

Headshot sessions are available to book in my studio in Northeast Minneapolis or on site to highlight your practice/business/career.

Online galleries for portrait sessions typically take between 1-3 weeks. Wedding galleries generally take around 8 weeks but can take up to 10 weeks during the busy season.

The number of photos varies depending on the type of session. Family, newborn and couples sessions contain around 75-100 photos. Headshots and seniors will receive a proofing gallery where you’ll choose up to 30 photos out of your culled gallery. Weddings include an average of 75-100 photos per hour of coverage.

Absolutely! Once we get to the point of our inquiry process I’ll share a past wedding in full so you can get familiar with how the gallery works.
